West Walton is a small rural primary school in West Norfolk, close to the Cambridgeshire border. It forms part of the Windmill Primary Federation along with Terrington St John, Tilney St Lawrence and Walpole Highway.

On behalf of our staff, children and governors, I would very much like to welcome you to West Walton Primary School.
West Walton is a one-form entry village school at the heart of our local community, where we pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment in which every child can feel happy, safe and valued. We nurture children from their first steps in Reception through to the end of Year 6, supporting them to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.
Our curriculum is designed to inspire and challenge pupils, building their knowledge and skills while providing opportunities to learn beyond the classroom through visitors, trips and experiences that celebrate our local area, Norfolk’s rich history and heritage, and the natural world.
We also recognise the importance of music, the arts, sport and wider experiences in helping children to become confident and well-rounded individuals. Children have opportunities to learn musical instruments, take part in choir and perform in concerts both locally and further afield. Our active PTA also plays an important role in school life, working tirelessly to raise funds and provide exciting additional opportunities and experiences for our children.
